Cantonese

AKA Yue or Guangdong cuisine, it comes from China’s Guangdong Province, and its capital, Guangzhou, formerly Canton. It is one of the twelve culinary traditions. It is one of the most familiar culinary styles of China to the peoples of the Northern hemisphere because Cantonese chefs are known the world over for their cuisine, and several large migrations made Canton Chinese the defacto standard of other parts of the globe.
