STRAIGHT TALK
Captain Morgan 100 Proof is the better version for people judging the brand on structure. The higher proof gives it more presence, and the spice reads less soft than the standard bottle. MY TAKE
Captain Morgan 100 Proof is stronger, firmer, and more convincing than the standard Original Spiced. Vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, clove, molasses, oak, and heat all show clearly. It still lacks real rum depth, but the added proof gives it better structure. Judged as commercial spiced rum, it earns a slightly better score than the regular bottle.
