Epicurean boards are super tough, natural wood fiber-based cutting surfaces with none of the hassles of bamboo or softer woods that need a lot of maintenance, and without the bits that end up in your food from food-grade plastic boards.
They’re temp resistant up to 350°F / 177°c so they can also be used as a trivet, or a spot to drop your pot on the counter, that won’t mark or burn.
They’re light, and very easy to store as well. Epicurean offers ones with non-stick rubber bumper-ends, but I prefer these. The bumpers are just collectors for bacteria, have to be washed frequently, and crack easily. This edition of their board is all business and no fuss.
This board comes in four sizes. Featured here is the Large 14.25″ x 11.25.”
At Amazon, choose from:
- Extra Large – 17.5″ x 13″
- Large – 14.25″ x 11.25″ 36 cm x 29 cm
- Medium – 11.5″ x 9″ / 29 cm x 23 cm
- Small – 8″ x 6″ / 203 mm x 152 mm
