Szechuan Pepper (Coarse Ground)

A tingly fruit that’s not a pepper or peppercorn at all, this nice spice is used throughout the world for a big flavor finish with a little lemony tingle. Coarse ground is good as an additive to dishes where it has time to cook, and powder is a topping, but the whole and a spice grinder are the best way to go for all uses.
