THE CARE NOTE

MY TAKE
Silicone spatulas are essential gear in any kitchen, but ones with a good solid ergonomic handle and preferably aren’t wood-based are the better way to go. These pop in the dishwasher, wood you have to wash by hand, even if they tell you that it’s dishwasher safe, because the space under the spatula can develop some really nasty black mold. The handles’ design and length won’t hurt your hands or cause you to over-stress your wrist or forearm muscles because a round grip is a more comfortable, natural feel.
There are a lot of silicone spatulas on the market. This one is both a good fit and a good price. It gets my Jazz Chef One-Diamond nod as one of many top ergonomic products with good warranties.
